Humanism × Machines = Sustainable Abundance

We fund early-stage DeepTech hardware startups in the USA that unapologetically evangelize secular humanist values.

Why Hardware

Software ate the last twenty years. The next twenty belong to the physical stack — power, matter, and motion. Bits are cheap. Atoms compound.

We are not a SaaS fund with a hardware slide. We are a hardware firm that happens to understand software, growth, and distribution.

Why Humanist

Technology is not automatically good. It is a lever. We will not fund tools whose primary product is coercion, extraction from the defenseless, or the replacement of human judgment where it still belongs. We will fund tools that make good, honest people more capable: abundant energy, dual-use that makes aggression expensive, and all machines that accelerate a sustainable, abundant future for humanity.

Why The United States

Supply chains, export controls, talent, and most importantly, values, are not mere abstractions. We invest exclusively in companies based and building in the USA because the USA has the greatest concentration of talent × resources × western humanist values on earth.

Why Pre-Seed

The mispriced moment in hardware is the first check: when the physics is real, the team is small, and the future is bright.

What We Will Not Fund

Secular Humanism locates ethics, meaning, and knowledge in reason, evidence, and this life — not the supernatural. Its principles:

  1. Test Beliefs — nothing is exempt from scrutiny, including this.
  2. Reason & Science — the method for solving human problems.
  3. Fulfillment — growth and creativity for the person and the species.
  4. Search For Truth — objective, revisable, never finished.
  5. This Life — make it count; there is no other.
  6. Ethics — judged by human well-being, not revelation.
  7. Justice — fairness without discrimination or intolerance.
  8. A Better World — reason, open debate, and goodwill can still build one.
